    Good for getting Local Channels

This is the 3rd Antenna I have had in 5 yrs, Good Product to help cut the Cable the thing about it is Demografics-Where I live I get about 22/30 Channels and sometimes it depends on the weather. But it is easy to put together it is nice to be able to push a button and the Antenna Rotates so if you find a Low fringe area you can turn it and maybe bring in a stronger signal. I rate it a Four because Of that little downside but there are times that it is a Five This is my 3rd one because with time things happen High Winds Hot Sun so as with some things they have to be replaced But many times I am pleased with this Antenna This one is more improved than the one I bought 5 years ago Ebay asked to be Honest about this Product so this is my opinion But I will buy it again.

It's no better than any other 40 mile TV antenna

First I want to say the 250 mile reception claim is completely false. The TV signal is transmitted up to 60 miles from the TV transmitting tower and doesn't reach any further. You can only receive what's available with any antenna. I tried this antenna and it didn't perform any better than my previous 50 mile antenna, actually it was a little worse. I live 50 miles from Cincinnati and should receive at least 20 channels from the available transmitter towers. It's a weak signal, however when it's amplified it works well. I only got 6 channels with this antenna at 50 miles, my previous antennas out performed it. I do blame most of this on the FCC over-the-air broadcast frequencies change this past year. It seems all of the broadcasting station signals are now weaker due to the channel ...

  • May good for some not for me.

it is easy to set up and if you have a clear unobstructed line of sight to the transmitting towers it would perform well. If you have trees or structures it is useless . Some signals from 20 miles away come in very well while those 40 miles away don't come in at all so unless you live on a flat plain with no obstructions 200miles is a joke. There are also some stations whose signals are so strong you get them regardless but who wants to shop all day. For me this was not a good value and since I don't have much reception it doesn't perform well for me. The 360 degree rotation is kind of a joke too. If you can't see it you have no idea which way it is turning or in what direction it is aiming. Again for the price if I got a few more stations it would be ok but it is more aggravating than ...

  • All in all a good purchase, except for lack of remote.

The antenna brings in over 30 channels when I could get none on my other antenna, would have given five stars if the remote had been in the package. I’m using it in our fifth wheel camper and a remote sure would have been handy. Made a removable pole so I can take it off when traveling.

  • Disappointing performance

Not my first rodeo. I have been hooking up electronics for over 60 years. The antenna comes out of the box complete and sets up easily. Making connections is no problem. The motorized rotor works fine. As a quick trial, I set the antenna up near the ceiling on the first floor, and indoors. I live 8 miles from the broadcast towers, which are at a 370 foot higher base elevation. I have checked and unfortunately line of sight to the broadcast towers does cross over the high rise downtown area of Rochester, NY. Signal strength is not sufficient to pull in all channels, and those that do come in frequently pixelate. I will experiment with a higher location in the attic of a two story home, however I did expect the overkill performance advertised would function much better that what I have ...
